Wassup mfs. Welcome to library. This place is currently being worked on, and will eventually contain information on all the automaton attachments. Listing out their tier, mechanics, and overall use. Many changes have came to attachments on horizon, in addition, it can be hard for puppetmasters to know exactly what to get while leveling or at 75. We created this library to help with that. And at any point, feel free to add something, or correct wrong information.

F tier

Auto-repair kits

Cost: 2 Light // 3 Light Functionality: Increases max hp, and gives a regen effect while you have light manuevers up.

According to the FF11 wiki; these are the max hp bonus values.

This is really about the only set of attachments in the game that I truly believe to be F tier. I mean, simply by looking at them you could understand that maybe these could be decent. A source of regen would be nice. Well... No. On paper having more max hp and a source of regen sounds good, especally for a melee auto like VE or Harly.

"But Cryo, don't the attachments do a percentage of max hp in their regen, too?" Sadly, no. That was changed on Horizon.

In practice, these attachments do next to nothing. The max hp generally will not be useful. It may be nice in certain situations, but 99% of the time you would rather have any other attachment than this one.

An arguement can be made that these attachments are good at lower levels, and to that, I'd say sure. Yes, they can contribute something at lower levels assuming you have not many good attachments. But... According to the current AH as I am writing this, the repair kits cost 60k and 300k gil each respectively. This. Is. Not worth it, in any way. You are better off buying really anything else with that gil.

Here is some example math. Assuming you have three light manuevers up, with both kits, you would be generating 12 health every tick. Sounds decent, right? Yeah, no. A single cannibal blade from the ranges of 66-75 can hit from anywhere to 300-600 damage. This only requires a single dark manuever, and can keep the auto up on its own.

300(cannibal blade health) * 12(3 light maneuver, double repair kits, regen) = 25 You need 25 ticks of regen to equal as much health as cannibal blade would give you. Which would take 100 seconds.

This is very bad. Triple light is completely awful too, as very few light attachments are even worth using a manuever for. A single dark maneuver would let your auto use cannibal blade often, which not only heals it for more than THREE LIGHT MANUEVERS would, it also doesn't cost a billion overload (as optimal setups need optic fiber, and optic fiber causes light manuevers to be a lot more expensive burden wise).

In conclusion, I hate this attachment, it is very bad at anything other than extremely low levels. Use only if you have completely free extra slots. I do not recommend anyone buying it.
